Teen Poetry Workshops at Kent District Library's Kentwood Branch

Kent District Library’s Kentwood (Richard L. Root) Branch will once again partner with Through the 3rd Eye mentors and offer a series of free poetry workshops every other Sunday beginning March 16.

The workshops, aimed at teens in grades 6-12, will focus on giving participants time and space to develop and share their poetry. Members of the Editorial Board of Through the 3rd Eye will be on hand at each session to provide feedback, guidance, encouragement and inspiration.

Each session will run from 2-3pm

Participants will be invited to share their poetry with an audience at the branch on April 27, and are encouraged to enter their works in the 11th annual KDL Word Wise Teen Poetry Contest.
