Red Gladiola

Red gladiola,
you are bright,
with your red
friend Joy beside me.
You have four
petals.  Oh, and
you white
vase, how
do they see you?
You are
so white.
You blend in
with the green
table cloth.

Red gladiola,
you are the
color of blood.
You have a
middle but you
can barely
see it.  You make
me want to cry.
You look like a
princess flowing in
a river.  I think
you look really
good in the white
vase that is
on a green table
cloth that has
purple petals.
I bet that a
prince is
trying to
find your
beauty, which
is you!
