Summer's Trampoline

Summer came and I
wanted to get warm
on the big black circle
by going up and down
and around and around
automatically, the circle
with spikes blazing down
on me. When I slipped
and looked around,
there was nothing around
except me and
the black circle.
Everything wouldn't go
except me. Everything
was quiet but the squealing
of the shaking springs.
