The Map's Way

A map. I found a map!
It has words that are
written backwards, shimmering
like mirrors, lines, dotted or
scarred arrows, that paint
and point the way. They fade
from black to red and
back again as a new
line. And then there is that
bold, bulging X made
from long, dark swords that are
sharp as splitting grass.
The map has waves that
stretch down to the deep,
dark-filled ocean, never to be
seen again. It warns to
have caution, with a skull
that guards. It is
an uncautious map.
It takes chances, ones I
won't.
